Saturday, April 13th The Columbus Cup at Waveshaper Island will be from 11 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. This freestyle kayak competition will select the Columbus Cup winners and award over $15,000 in cash prizes. Paddlers may use a kayak or a canoe. The K1 field includes $2,000 for the winner, $1,500 for the second, $1,000 for the third, $500 for the fourth, and $250 for the fifth place. The Junior division has a minimum field of 5 participants for both men and women. The prize money includes $1,000 for the first, $750 for the second, $500 for the third, $250 for the fourth, and $100 for the fifth-place finisher.
